Bikernet is reporting that Paisano Publications, the owner of Easyriders, one of the last independently owned motorcycle print publications groups is going up for auction on May 15th. The legendary newstand magazine started in the 1970's and expanded to include other magazine titles, motorcycle shows and events.
The owner, 76 year old Joe Teresi is looking to retire and has decided the best way to sell the assets is through auction.
It is truly the end of an era.
For those who follow the biker lifestyle, the website Bikernet is owned and operated by former longtime Easyrider editor Keith Ball.
