Another Venue Boots Nashville Bike Week

It took less than 2 weeks before Nashville Bike Week was booted from another venue. NBW announced it had secured the American Rebel Mud Park in Waynesboro Tennesse.  A local TV News channel spoke with the owner at the time, who said he’s a lifelong biker and hoped to make sure the event goes on. But, after talking with his lawyer, as well as state and local officials, Stan Chiras, owner of the venue said he's backing out, but is offering his venue for anyone who paid for the event to come and stay at no charge. Pennsylvania House Passes Bill To Give Motorcycle Processions More Rights

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – The Pennsylvania House of Representatives has passed legislation that would give organized motorcycle processions many of the same rights as funeral processions. House Bill 831 would allow the motorcycle processions to proceed as a group through red lights and stop signs, and they would be authorized to control and direct traffic when passing through an intersection. The bill’s sponsor, Rep. Iowa Woman Missing; Her Harley Found in Wildlife Area

DUNKERTON, Iowa (Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier) -- According to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier, about 50 friends and relatives of Rhonda Apfel joined authorities in a search for the missing woman Tuesday, a day after she was reported missing. While Black Hawk sheriff’s deputies, conservation officers and Dunkerton firefighters searched the Wapsipinicon River by boat, volunteers worked their way along the banks. Apfel, 47, of Waterloo, was reported missing Monday, and a resident later reported an unattended motorcycle parked at Bruggeman Wildlife Area, located along the Wapsi River northeast of Dunkerton. The motorcycle turned out to be Apfel’s, officials said....
