His face is instantly recognizable and his support of veteran causes is well known. Now the last action hero, Bruce Willis is donating five of his motorcycles that will be auctioned online to benefit Boot Campaign.

The auction started two months ago with a 2005 Ducati 1000DS which sold for $6,250.

On the block this month is a 1988 Yamaha TW, valued at $1,400. As of Feb 8th, the bidding had reached $1,450 with only 3 bidders competing for the bike.

Willis, who was born on a military base in Germany has long been a supporter of veterans and their charities.

Boot Campaign released a statement from the actor who said, “I wanted to use my bikes in a way that would benefit our military service members, and I am thankful to have found the Boot Campaign as the catalyst for using my bikes in a way that will give back to our country’s true heroes,” “These bikes have been a lot of fun to ride, and my hope is they can do a lot of good for our veterans.”

The charity will auction the bikes in two month intervals. In April, the actor’s 1962 Cushman Eagle will be up and in June a 1991 Yamaha XT. The final auction will be in August and will be a 1972 H-D Ironhead Sportster XLH.
